Street food shack approached Emergo in need of an updated EPOS system so that they could run their business efficiently. To keep up with the demand in the restaurant, they needed to be able to obtain sales reports and streamline their operations.

The business owner realised their company wasn’t running as efficiently as it should. As they had no data reports to access they didn’t know how the business was performing. Due to the slow service caused by the outdated EPOS system, food orders were slow to be processed through the till preventing customers from ordering quickly.

This slow service caused the business to have poor customer service and long queues.

The Results

We helped Street Food Shack succeed by providing them with cutting-edge technology. Emergo provided them with one fixed EPOS till and an upgraded printer. Food orders can now be easily entered on the EPOS touch screen and sent directly to the kitchen. Customers are no longer required to wait for hours to place an order. The fixed till enabled the business to take control of orders placed with such a quick and simple system.

We also gave the business a cash drawer so that they could still accept cash payments. Finally, we provided a portable card machine; which allows staff to go to customers who are seated and take payments rather than customers forming queues. The street food shack was pleased that we could offer them a variety of products to accommodate various payment methods.

Since receiving new products, the company’s customer service has improved. The restaurant now receives consistent revenue from repeat customers because their customers’ needs are prioritised.
