Laneway Coffee began trading with an older system, which the owner, Marie, found unreliable and inefficient for her café. The system was slow which had a negative impact on the business, and the entire team.

The staff was unable to provide a good customer experience, and long customer queues would form at the counter as the café could not process orders and payments quickly.

The Results

We provided the café with many products. Our reliable, affordable solutions helped fix all the problems occurring. 

Laneway Coffee received a single-screen EPOS till, which had a larger and clearer screen, allowing the café to take orders quickly while also allowing staff to operate efficiently. The café’s menu contains over 70 items, the EPOS layout makes it simple for staff to select products and place them on the customer’s order. 

As a result of the fixed and handled EPOS systems being in sync, the café is always aware of the orders and products that are being sold, which helps them manage their inventory and determine which products are popular with their customers.

Laneway Coffee also purchased a kitchen printer. This enabled the café to send customer orders directly to the kitchen, allowing the staff to prepare food quickly. We knew Laneway Coffee needed a payment terminal to solve the problem of accepting payments at tables. This was solved once the business purchased our card machines. Customers were pleased with their experience as they didn’t have to queue to pay; payment could be taken from their seats.
